What You’ll Do
From the very start of your trainee period, you will be part of the team, learning and independently deepening your understanding of regulatory reporting processes. You will have the opportunity to challenge yourself with demanding regulatory reporting tasks and, based on your interests, work in the customer interface, collaborate with various stakeholders, and take on more service-specific responsibilities. To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine interest in developing yourself and a desire to delve into the risk management requirements of the banking sector. You aspire to grow into a finance professional who understands both the business and technical aspects of banking operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Enthusiasm to grow into a finance professional who understands both the business and technical aspects of banking
- A passion for learning new things, developing yourself, and deepening your knowledge of banking risk management requirements
- Basic understanding of banking business
- Full fluency in Finnish and English
In your working style, you are precise and proactive, and you quickly absorb new things. You are interested in banking and enjoy focusing on details. In addition, you have a strong desire to serve our clients with excellence. Within our team, we value trust and a collaborative attitude toward one another, and we uphold these values also in our client work.
Nice to Have
- University degree, either soon graduating or recently graduated
- Previous experience in banking, finance, or IT roles
- Knowledge of banking regulation and/or regulatory reporting
- Basic understanding of database queries (SQL)
- Previous experience in reporting or project work

Duration of the trainee season lasts 9 months and during this time, trainees will embark in ALM Academy training course which lasts 9 weeks. During these 9 weeks trainees learn about risk and balance sheet management, regulatory reporting, technical reporting solutions, data warehouses, data management, ETL, cloud services and much more. The best part is that no matter what your position would be, you'll get to learn all of this.
After the Academy, trainees continue their trainee season with their own teams, learning and honing the skills which are required to perform to our standards. When sufficient skills are established, trainees are able to support their colleagues within customer cases, giving hands on experience and responsibility. Once the nine month period is completed, trainee season ends but learning continues together with the team to become specialist.
The 9 month program is paid, with a monthly compensation of 2850 EUR.
