Join our International Business team as an Account Growth Associate in Helsinki!
We're looking for a motivated and organized recent graduate to join our international business team as an Account Growth Associate. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about international business operations, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced fintech and consultancy environment.
This role is built for someone who is eager to grow -as our team’s footprint across EMEA expands, so will your responsibilities. You’ll start by taking ownership of the operative side but as you grow into the role, your responsibilities will also expand. Over time, success in the role would entail eventually taking on more direct customer-related activities, leading to the eventual role of an Account Manager of a growing number of accounts that you would directly be contributing to acquiring.
What You’ll Do
Internal Coordination & Administrative Support (60%)
- Support the coordination of internal requests and initiatives across the international business team
- Help identify and connect with the right internal stakeholders under guidance from team members
- Follow up on pending requests and deliverables to ensure timely completion
- Assist in coordinating cross-functional efforts for productization and international market initiatives
- Support collaboration between international business and marketing teams for campaigns and events
- Maintain organized documentation and communication records
Sales Opportunity & Partnership Support (30%)
- Assist in coordinating new business sales opportunities by tracking requirements and supporting documentation
- Maintain and update the CRM/pipeline with accurate information under supervision
- Support partnership coordination activities including scheduling, documentation, and basic reporting
- Help prepare materials and presentations for customer meetings and partner discussions
- Track milestones and deadlines for ongoing opportunities
Learning & Development (10%)
- Learn internal processes and build relationships across the organization
- Participate in process improvement discussions and contribute ideas
- Develop understanding of international business operations and financial services
- Build proficiency in relevant tools and systems (CRM, project management, etc.)
Requirements
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree or greater completed or near completion (in a relevant field: business, finance, international relations, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools
- Team player who is adaptable and service-oriented
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred:
- Internship or some work experience in business, finance, consulting, or coordination roles
- Interest in international business, or financial services
- Exposure to CRM systems or project management tools
- Involvement in student organizations, project coordination, or event planning
- Basic understanding of B2B business operations
- Additional European languages (Nordic languages particularly valued)

Duration of the trainee season lasts 9 months and during this time, trainees will embark in ALM Academy training course which lasts 9 weeks. During these 9 weeks trainees learn about risk and balance sheet management, regulatory reporting, technical reporting solutions, data warehouses, data management, ETL, cloud services and much more. The best part is that no matter what your position would be, you'll get to learn all of this.
After the Academy, trainees continue their trainee season with their own teams, learning and honing the skills which are required to perform to our standards. When sufficient skills are established, trainees are able to support their colleagues within customer cases, giving hands on experience and responsibility. Once the nine month period is completed, trainee season ends but learning continues together with the team to become specialist.
The 9 month program is paid, with a monthly compensation of 2850 EUR.
