Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)
We are looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative to strengthen the International Business team team at ALM Partners.
You'll own the top of the funnel for our EU expansion. That means turning a defined set of target banks into qualified conversations with our account managers through outbound that's intelligent, well-researched, and credible from the first message.
Scope is EU-wide. Nordics and DACH are where we're putting the most weight today, but well qualified opportunities in any EU market are in play. Over time, you'll help us decide where to lean in next.
This is not a script-and-spray role. Our buyers within risk, treasury, and regulatory reporting departments inside banks do not respond to that, and our brand can't afford it. You'll work a list of higher-value accounts -that you originate- with the kind of precision that only someone who actually understands the topic can pull off.
You'll have meaningful autonomy. You'll be expected to use it.
What you'll do
Build and run outbound sequences into target banks across the EU, with Nordics and DACH as the immediate priority
Research accounts deeply: regulatory pressures, recent leadership moves, public RFIs, peer wins, and turn that into outreach that lands
Book qualified discovery meetings for our account management and presales teams and hand them off cleanly
Track market signals (regulatory changes, tenders, hires) across the EU and turn them into outreach moments
Support inbound from time to time: partner sourced leads, event follow-ups, tender responses
Keep the CRM clean enough that pipeline reporting actually means something
Help shape the playbook we'll use to open the next priority EU markets
What we’re looking for
2–4 years of outbound experience (BDR / SDR / inside sales / market development), with at least one year selling into financial services, banking, or B2B fintech
Clear previous ownership of revenue pipelines with larger ticket sizes
Working knowledge of banking topics: you should be able to hold a credible early-stage conversation about regulatory reporting, treasury, or ALM without bluffing. You don't need to be a domain expert on day one, but you should know more than the average SaaS representative
Hungry and independent: you're motivated by hitting targets. While you are going to be supervised and part of a team, strong independent drive and activity-based reporting is expected. You will own the top of funnel, and you need to treat it like it is your own
Comfortable with ambiguity: we're a growing international function. Some processes don't exist yet. You'll help build them.
Excellent written English + at least 1 other European language. German, French, Swedish or Finnish is preferred.
Nice-to-have
Experience working across multiple EU markets (beyond a single-country focus)
Familiarity with Nordics or DACH buying behavior and business culture
Exposure to enterprise sales environments where deals are influenced by multiple stakeholders and longer cycles
Experience working in a scale-up environment where processes are still evolving
A sense of humor and relentless positivity
What we offer
A growing, profitable, and stable company, largely owned by it's employees, operating in an expanding market
Supportive work culture with a strong sense of community
Comprehensive benefits, including occupational health and dental care, sports, culture and lunch benefits, as well as extensive insurance coverage
Continuous learning, such as access to Coursera, support for certifications and professional development
Hybrid working environment, offering flexibility and trust in how and where you work
Compensation model
We offer an on-target earnings (OTE)–based compensation model with a 70/30 split between base salary and variable pay. The OTE is €5,000 per month (or local equivalent), with the opportunity to overachieve up to 150%.
Performance is measured through a clear and transparent KPI model, focused on sales-qualified lead bookings. To support your success, we provide a three-month ramp-up period to help you reach full speed after onboarding.
