I’m Sari Kallonen, and I’ve been working at ALM Partners for nearly two years. I first encountered ALM Partners several years ago while working at another company, collaborating with their employees on a few projects. Life took me abroad for a couple of years, but upon returning to Finland, I reconnected with familiar and new people at ALM Partners, which eventually led me to join the company.

I started at ALM Partners in a team of about six people, where it was immediately clear that all new team members were welcomed with a positive attitude, and everyone received the necessary orientation, guidance, and support. In our team, we work on maintenance and small development tasks, including data warehousing and various regulatory reporting, making the work truly diverse.

After working as a team member for about a year, I was offered the opportunity to become our team’s lead. I decided to take on the challenge, and for some time now, I’ve been dividing my work between specialist and supervisory tasks. Although the change felt like a small leap into the unknown, I’ve received strong support from my employer and colleagues as I’ve taken on the challenges of being a team lead. Additionally, we have an excellent team, which has also made adapting to the new role easier.

In just a couple of years at ALM Partners, there have been significant changes and a lot of new learning, and I’m eagerly looking forward to what the future holds.
