Product Manager
Are you a Product Manager with some experience, but would like to have more responsibility in shaping a product still early in its lifecycle?
ALM Partners is recruiting a Product Manager to our new Product Management organization to lead the growth of a regulatory reporting software product DPM Manager. You will be working with customers, sales, marketing, development and other internal stakeholders to drive DPM Manager to become the leading regulatory reporting solution in Europe. You will have the responsibility and freedom to develop DPM Manager vision, roadmap and product management practices to support this growth.
ALM Partners is a low-hierarchy organization, and you can directly contribute how our product, organization and strategy takes shape in this fast-growing company. You will have exposure to all aspects of product management from research to road mapping, and you will be an integral part of building our brand new Product Management organization at ALM Partners.
About the products
ALM Partners develops software and data products and services to support European Banking and Financial Market stability. Regulatory reporting and meeting the changing regulatory requirements is complex and time-consuming, so our goal is to lessen the burden by making regulatory reporting powerful, efficient and less painful for our customers.
DPM Manager is our spearhead Regulatory Reporting Software that has been in use at our customers since 2022. During 2024 we started scaling internationally, landing multiple new customers in Europe. During 2025-2026 we’re planning to scale the software further in Europe.
The role
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Customers: Become familiar with and solve the customers' problems in regulatory reporting data and processes. You’ll meet and discuss with customers and internal users to figure out how the product could make their work in regulatory reporting better. You will fluently communicate business requirements to the development team and ensure that we’re meeting the customer needs with the product.
- Roadmap: Plan and execute product vision and strategy in a product roadmap. Work with developers to find ways to empower our customer’s regulatory reporting. Work with sales and marketing to create brand awareness, enter new markets and acquire new customers.
- Processes: Develop and implement processes for the product, like product discovery practices, customer support, distribution, sales demos, trainings and so on.
Other responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the development of the brand new Product Management function with your expertise and experience.
- Spar with your colleagues and help new talents grow in Product Management.
- Understanding and keeping up with the regulatory reporting market in Europe.
To succeed in this role, you can come from various backgrounds, but ideally you would have:
- Experience in product management, preferably in software. You have knowledge of how products should be managed and experience putting it into practice.
- Willingness to take strong ownership. We value enthusiasm to dive into details hands-on, while also being able to drive strategic initiatives. You are eager to learn how regulatory reporting works for banks and insurance companies, and how we could solve problems in regulatory reporting on European scale.
- You are a doer. You have the attitude to push towards completion and ability to prioritize. You are able to gather information and make data-based decisions, and have the skill to evaluate what is integral for success.
- Confidence in the spotlight: successful stakeholder collaboration with customers and internally. You enjoy talking to customers and are happy to jump into sales calls and demo the product.
- Excellent communication skills in English, ability to communicate in both business and technical languages. You are comfortable with different tones and levels of communication and fluently jump from regulatory reporting detail-oriented discussions with reporting analysts to high-level strategic sales discussions with CFOs.
